PhotoHunt: Chips - in Italy

These are Venice chips actually, at our Campo San Provolo trattoria, Da Ninos. The picture underneath is one I just happened to have of the day in Florence that we went to Pisa to go up the Leaning Tower. We had chips with our dinner that night too.

This is my latest entry.

Hi Leslie, I love these photos and your design. Great theme photo selections...

I thought climbing the Pisa tower was very cool!

Have a great weekend Leslie!

Yum, chips!

I tried to check out Da Ninos when I was in Venice but they were closed both times I walked by. They might have been on vacation. Hope to get there someday!

Happy weekend!

My grandmother used to cook chips with almost every meal. We liked to visit her more than the other granny who preferred to boil.

I'm more of a baked potato or rice kinda gal. But anything in Venice would be mighty fine for me! :)

Haha - I was thinking about doing this type of theme but went for something sitting right in front of me... Great stretch on the theme, especially when it comes from your favorite place to visit! You might make me want some tonight even!

I never would have thought of this one. Great idea Leslie.

I am coming to Australia in a few weeks. Eight years since I was there. Too much time will be spent visiting relatives but I am looking forward to it.

Happy weekend to you.

And what do the Venetians call the chips? :)

That is a good choice of this weeks theme. Happy weekend. Hope I can see Venice one day.

Nice take for this week's theme. I love to see different kinds of interpretation. Happy weekend!

Wonderful - At least they were good honest chips and not "Fries".

I didn't even know they served chips in Italy. I'm glad they're the hearty kind of fries, not the shoestring potatoes which I detest.

I do hope you have time to stop by my blog this weekend-- I'm helping Quaker Oats and Share Our Strength with a campaign to stamp out childhood hunger in the US!

I love chips so much that I've carefully saved bits of every one I've ever eaten, attractively disposed in the general vicinity of hips and thighs.
