PhotoHunt: Painted - Scenes from the Gold Coast

"As idle as a painted ship
Upon a painted ocean.

Water, water, everywhere"

The theme "painted" reminded me of The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and also the painted looks of many of the backgrounds, overlays and elements in digital scrapbooking. Put that together with thoughts of the Gold Coast where I just attended a Digital Scrapbooking Place conference...

Me in the center, with the blue shirt, and Alessandro is also with the blue shirt in the middle of the next one.

This is my latest entry.

Beautiful - I love the beach. And the Gold Coast. The blue is gorgeous Leslie. How beautiful is youth? You must read my latest post.

Lovely presentation of both photos. Yes, youth is beautiful, but it's wasted on the young! Nothing wrong with us oldsters ...

Sounds as if it was an inetresting gathering. Scrapbooking is a new concept to me in these terms. My experience was purely pasting cuttings and birthday cards into a very basic book.

The last time I was on the Gold Coast I had the worlds worst hangover, so not many memories. Your photos are great.

Great layouts. I love beach photos. The Gold Coast looks like a beautiful place to visit. Now I get why your conference is fun! It is not a work conference :)

I have done some regular scrapbooking but don't know what the main difference there is between this and the digital variety. Great shots.
