The Italian Riviera - Santa Margherita Ligure

I've stayed here three times now, right on the beach, overlooking the main street. Up on my third floor balcony, counting the ferraris as they roar past...

But this photo was taken as we walked out the front door, off to have that first delicious cappuccino of the day.

OMG... we stayed about two blocks back from this and ADORED Santa Margherita. Of course we wanted to see Portofino originally, and this was as close as we could afford at the time. I recall being enchanted by some long winding stone stairs somewhere near there - I have a photo with a cat watching Mr I climb up past him.

*sigh*
(I always sigh when I come here!)

Hi Leslie, that is such a beautiful view and a lovely design. I have not yet been there but SML is definitely on my must see Italy List and I can't wait to see it in person too.

Have a very Happy, Safe and Healthy New Year!
