PhotoHunt: Wide - Trixie

Deck the halls with barfed up holly,
Fa la la la la
La la la la.

Trixie and Pyewacket were playing thundering herd of elephants last week, and they knocked the tree over. Bent branches, downed ornaments, bits of tree all over the carpet.... oh my!

The vet said to put her on a diet as she is getting quite wide, but she didn't take kindly to the idea.

This is my latest entry.

MOL! Does Trixie know?! I love the second one, too cute. Fui and Suey haven't quite managed to take down the tree yet. It's not for lack of trying, though!

hahaha.... Trixie getting too wide?
Merry Christmas Leslie!!

Holiday seasons usually get most people to become wide eh? Well Trixie looks pretty cute to me!

Bwahahaha, thanks for the laugh. And well, Trixie does look well fed... ;D

Those are cute, especially the second one. I was playing THoE last night all by myself. Mom heard a crash and then me runninng. She still hasn't found the evidence.

You will give that cat a complex - Wide indeed!

Anonymous said...

I like the cat ornament myself. And I sympathize with Trixie, having been thought a bit wide myself.

PastormacsAnn said...

It's pretty easy to get wide - how much it's so much harder to get thin again. Not fair. I'm sure Trixie would agree.

These are terrific. Love her little beauty spot under her nose! What wonderful faces.

Ya, our cat is on a diet too...."See Food" diet.

Happy Christmas to you. Hope you can stop by and take a treat with you from Santa's Wide Boot!!

Oh very cute!! Good luck with that diet!

I call my husband's cat Bubba because his neck is bigger around than his head and body...like a big dumb football player. Jim always says I'm mean, but he never once said it's not true. I think happy cats are supposed to be fat.

Memories of Eric and Flynn said...

Uh-oh, trust us to be different but we love, love love the first picture. Mum thinks the background is beautiful!!
I (Flynn) have had the tree down twice, but that is mum's fault for putting the robin at the top out of my way.

So cute, and not wide at all! Despite the antics of my two cats, the Christimas tree has not been knocked over yet this year. They do love to run underneath the branches and steal ornaments. Little scoundrels, aren't they? Have a very merry Christmas!

We have our own "wide kitty" and that's one reason the Christmas tree sits on top of the entertainment center. My contribution to the theme is up this morning as well.

Have a wonderful Christmas.

Oh no, going on a diet during the Christmas season?

Advanced Merry Christmas to you and yours :)

By the way, my eldest daughter's nickname is Trixie :D

ZOOLATRY said...

Oh oh, something's wrong here... our human is laughing loud and it's way to early in the morning for that.
Perhaps Trixie partook of that mousie pie when no one was looking...
but hey:
Wide Is Wonderful.

I thought of using a photo of Ricky, but he's no longer wide. In fact he's gotten very thin and I'm trying to fatten him back up.
Trixie looks like a lovable cat in spite of her antics. I had to laugh about the "barfed up holly".
My "wide" photo is Here
Hope you can stop by!

Trixie, I do not think you are too wide. You are the perfect width!

LOL! How funny! Reminds me of the year I woke up at 2 am to get a glass of water and the tree was down in the middle of the living room with 4 cats staring at me innocently as walked through the room... ;-)

Between the holidays and commitments and work, I'm afraid I've gone a little dark and quirky this week...

Happy Holidays! (Not that it has anything to do with my PH post...)

Great pictures and theme for the holidays. I like how you kitty has that little black spot on her mouth. Kind of like those old-time movie star beauty marks (but a bit bigger).

Oh, fantastic!!! That was utterly funny!

I love that line, especially coming from a cat! You should have another one saying "I can has gift?" :-)
