Ruby Tuesday - Flowers on the wall

Counting flowers on the wall, that don't bother me at all
Playing solitaire 'til dawn with a deck of fifty-one
Smokin' cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo,
So don't tell me, I've nothing to do...

My mother Marcelle at one of our fabulous family fancy dress parties when I was a little girl. She was a big hit in her "feed sack" dress - she came as an 'old bag'.

Who are those guys? Are they from Australia? I LOVE your mom's photo. I would not have noticed the sack dress if you didn't mention it.

I love it! Your mother sounds pretty cheeky!

Welcome to Ruby Ruesday! I'm glad you're playing! I also love the Statler Brothers! I was practically raised on them!

Love this one! Love the photo, love the design, love the way your mom looks! It reminds me of when my mom used to have Bridge Club GTGs when I was a kid.

I love looking at your blog with your fabulous digital art work. It's always a lovely way to start my day.

I can see that you inherited your creativity from your Mom.

Long time ago when I was a teacher in a Montessori school I made, for a play on the discovery of the Americas, Indian costumes out of sacks.
