Yes folks, my 17 year old, Alessandro, is off in just over a week to Blackpool in England to represent Australia in pool - eight ball actually. He's just been made vice captain of the juniors. Um, I'm a bit proud!
This is Alessandro in Adelaide earlier this year representing his state against the rest of Australia.
Here he is last year in Perth - same thing.
I clipped this one out of the newspaper. You know, he has represented his state four years running. Oh and he will be wearing one of these cool green and gold vests and a bow tie like his friend Steve - look at this link and see if you can find his name in the green square.

What a handsome boy you have there. I think I am the last Brit standing that has never been to Blackpool. My Mum was never into the place and we never went. It's the hub for a ton of things like that, including ballroom dancing championships. Good luck to him!!
