I also went to Pisa from Florence with my son and had a great time.
Nice set of layouts for beautiful Italy!
Can you believe with all the towers I have climbed, I have yet to climb the most famous? I have been there twice but both times before climging was allowed. Some day...

Nice photos! We spent a night in Pisa last summer and loved it. Did you go into the Baptistry? I thought the acoustics were heavenly.
Nice photos - and I love the color of the background! That would be really beautiful on the wall as a wall hanging with photos or something. Mmmm... Maybe I should get creative!
I too loved the acoustics in the Baptistry. I didn't climb this tower either but I really enjoyed seeing it and the church.

Leslie, I went with my dad back when it when the tower was closed for renovations so I've yet to climb up it. I actually really like Pisa. It's so peaceful at night!
I have to say it was a pleasure catching up here...all beauty and lots of smiles. A great way to start a Monday. (a holiday Monday here)
