Perfect Positano

I've had four trips in recent years to Sorrento. One of my favorite things about staying there was that it was so close to Positano.

There's nothing quite like Positano, and when I think about it, I actually smell lemons. If you've been there, you will know what I mean. Lemons feature in the ceramics, and in many of the stores.

Hi Leslie, I love the Positano photos. But mostly, I must say that I'm thrilled to FINALLY be able to post a comment on your blog. I've been reading it for a long time, love your creative format, but had some trouble getting into leave you comments. But I think I've finally succeeded.

Beautiful, cheery pages that set off your memories lovingly. The lemon yellow is so refreshing and stands as a contrast to the more muted but eternally elegant and sophisticated green compositions I love so much. The latter suits the mood of Venice beautifully. Love your style!!!!

Hi, I just found your blog when I did a search on Positano. My husband and I are going there this spring for our anniversary. I've never been to Italy but I am SO excited to go. We're going to Positano and then to Rome. If you have any recommendations for restaurants or sights, I'd love to hear them! Your pictures are beautiful - it's making me long for the weeks to fly. I'm taking an Italian course right now so I will be able to speak a little Italian. Grazie!
