PhotoHunt: Dark - It was a dark and stormy night

This is my latest entry.

I haven’t been able to use the hail pictures before, because the hail storm was very frightening and it caused damage to my house. It took a lot of time and a team of workers – roofers, carpenters, plasterers, painters and electricians to put it all back to normal. And a lot of stress – for me.

The evening it happened, the sky had a weird green color, and everything seemed strangely lit with a warm glow.

That is a great Photo Hunt. DARK is what normally happens when it snows or hails!! Some parts of Canada,(Ontario) have been having tons of hailstorms this summer and there has been damage too! I am sorry about the damage to your house :(
Let's hope this is the end!!!!
No more hail ;)

That is an incredible amount of hail. I'm sure that was a scary and stressful experience. Glad your house is okay now and the ordeal is over! Have a great weekend, Annie

I love the shot and how you arranged it. Hail can be very scary. It's beautiful afterwards but I'm sorry you had to deal with a lot of damage. I love the caption for this.

I'm sure the stress of it all made your mood quite dark, too. I'm so glad for you that all is back to normal. Beautiful photos. :D

Hail looks so pretty on the ground but I didn't know it could cause so much damage. I'm glad that's behind now and that all is back to normal.

Have a wonderful weekend!

I thought of a dark and stormy night when I read the week's prompt too.

Mine's posted. Stop by if you can. You can see a dark sinister creature. [kidding of course] Have a super weekend.

A lot of people in our town had hail damage. Many roofers had lots of work.
We hope you are back to normal now..and no more green skies!!

Oh, that WAS a dark and stormy night -- and a pretty "dark" time afterwards. It would have been pretty if it hadn't been so scary.

Fantastic shots. I love the sound of hail on buildings. Very dramatic.

Wow, that was all hail? We are lucky we don't have hail here (although the Big Island had it once). Glad your house is ok now.

Oh my - glad nocat was injured. Here in Michigan green skies mean "Tornado - take cover."

Hope all is well in Brisbane and that your mom is doing better. Sounds like your sister has a couple of nice cats!
