Beau and Fleur

The topic for today was red - so this is my red house I lived in when I was two, in Marysville, California. It was about fourteen miles from Beale Air Force Base where we moved to next.

These are our poodles, Beau and Fleur.

P.S. Poodles may be cute - but if you want to see something really interesting head over to Shave Ice & Gelato to see the snow on Hawaii.

Who we were,
And where we came from,
Contributes to who we are...

Hey, I lived in Marysville, Washington for a couple of years. More small world stuff going on.

When I was a kid, my great-aunt Mildred bred poodles and gave my family a couple of her puppies. Your photo gives my heartstrings a tug as I remember Fidi and Poppi.

Your mom bred poodles too?! So cool! They are such nice dogs. My aunt bred the toys and the next size up (I can't think of it right now).

Leslie, that's a great photo, I love the poodles! And I'm now pouring over your Venice photos, I think I'll be headed there in fall......

Cheers,

How cool is this, I use to live at Beale AFB. Many, many, many years ago, LOL. We had poodle then, too. A toy poodle named Cocoa. Small world.
