Beautiful Burano

Alessandro and I had some special time wandering about Burano last September.

The scrapbooking really highlights the colour of the buildings as well as provides an interesting and artistic frame for the photos. Good work!

Just as well this is a relatively private site. It is so incongruous to have a cat commenting on such things.

Good! As long as we hold the same value and recognize the feline merits, who cares what the other humans think of us :)

Did you use your 'regular' snapshots for these scenes? It seems to me that these pics are unlike your earlier ones - there is greater depth of colour and light which make the quality more engaging of interest...+ Marcelle

This is so beautiful, Leslie! I've never been to the island of Burano but from your art work I can see that it is a magical place. (I always click on the photos to see them bigger.)

I love the houses there. The third photo really captures Burano the best, but I like them all :)

Love the colors! Wouldn't it be great to live in all that color and culture! Oh my, I'd have to repaint every year because I'd never be able to settle on just one yummy color!

I'm very sorry to hear about your Mom's shoulder! I pick my parents up at the airport tonight. Their 5 week visit with the SisterDears is over! They had a wonderful time visiting all the grandkids and great-grandkids, but they're ready to come home. Gandalf and Grayson will be delighted to have 2 more humans to adore them again. ;)

I'm so glad you'll get to see your sister! I know I don't have to tell you this, but take lots of photos!!! I can't imagine not seeing one of my SisterDears for 5 whole years. That would just be awful! I talk to them everyday! And see them at least once, sometimes twice and occasionally 3 times a year, even though I live about 1300 miles away from them. ♥

Hi Lesie, I love these photos of Burano. I really enjoyed visiting Burano last November. All the colors and charm of the island was so much fun to photograph.

I loved all your cool designs!

Wonderful designs! I loved Burano too, not as much as Torcello but still, it's such a beautiful island to visit.

Fantastic shots! Didn't you just adore Burano? We wandered away from the crowds to a near deserted park on the far side, where we lay in the grass listening to the wind sluffing through the leaves, and the waves lapping on the shore...sheer heaven!

Oh and there were lots of really cool cats there too! :)
