Very 50s and very domesticated-looking. Oh yes, of course I am talking about the 'cartoonized' Leslie and NOT the kitties. I do remember some cat talking about THE cake.......
I wish I knew how to do that photo art stuff, that is so cool! And I had no idea your son was a billiards champ. I used to love to play. Not like him, of course, but just 8 ball with my friends in college and stuff. Occasionally Martin and I will pick up a stick when we are out. That is a cool thing to be good at! I also loved your Capri cat!

A gentle reminder
I don't get back in again a second time to your blog comments, to see if you have replied back to me. So please reply to me on here. :) I'm really sorry, there just aren't enough hours in my day!

Thank you Betty Crocker and all who came before... and those who follow. Martha Stewart revisited.
I never get tired of looking at this either - it's so classic! You should put it on some notecards.

Oh, I haven't had snickerdoodles in ages. I'll have to make them for the grands sometime. :)
Love the picture! And snickerdoodles - YUM! It's summer here in Northern California - too hot to bake. Check out the baby red-winged blackbirds:

I saw the photo once before and both times it brought a smile to my face. You should have it on your sidebar so we can see it each time we visit.
